Speaking My Truth: Coming Out Of The Spiritual Closet!

Hello, my Lovelies!

I took the 50th episode, the end of the SOS Saturdays journey, to Come Out Of The Spiritual Closet! Yikes! Did you catch the Facebook live? I shared my journey of discovering the power of energy healing and space clearing.

All of this began 3 years ago when I started the Professional Organizing business. I started to attend business development seminars, and kept meeting Reiki healers. I know that everything happens for a reason and although I didn’t know why at that moment, I knew I was meant to meet them.

When I got curious enough to ask one of them why this was so (she’s also a Medium), she swiftly told me I would be doing this in my work one day. What??!! I didn’t understand what that meant. I was overwhelmed & confused, not knowing what to do with that info.

Little did I know that my thirst for learning would take me on a personal journey of working with crystals, essential oils, meditation, sound and energy healing. I kept this all to myself for fear of being judged. I was worried that people would think I was crazy woo woo.

Never would I have imagined, when I started this business 3 years ago, that I would be so immersed into the world of energy! 

Well, it makes sense, doesn’t it?

As I began to work with clients on clearing the clutter, helping their children to step into a space of empowerment in tidying their space as well, I realized that organizing isn’t just about the stuff. It’s so much more!

It’s about clearing the stagnant energy that has been stuck in our homes, closets, cupboards, pantry, files, computers. All of that stuck energy was being released as we cleared the clutter. 

My clients started to feel happier. Their relationships with their spouse became stronger. They felt more focused and less stressed!

I started to understand that this work as a Professional Organizer goes way beyond daily practicality. Clearing clutter and creating organized spaces lifts a person out of a state of stress, reduces anxiety, heals emotions and soothes the soul. 

Isn’t this what we’re all yearning for?

Why am I telling you about my personal journey of self-empowerment and spirituality? Why am I Out-ing myself??

I’m not changing who I am. I’m always growing, developing, evolving. In life, we should always be evolving! As we evolve, our space evolves! Our space NEEDS to evolve. And sometimes when we’re going through these evolutions, we may need to call upon our trusted Professional Organizer to support us through matching our inner & outer worlds.

As we clear the clutter, we clear energy. I’ve been exploring the practices of energetic Space Clearing and I’m learning so much! There are so many ways we can clear the energy in our homes. 

I’m not talking about clearing ghosts and spirits – that’s not my jam or expertise.

What I’m talking about is the feeling you get when you walk into your home. Stagnant energy is that dense feeling you get when you’ve had the windows closed for too long. Opening the window at the first sign of spring invites in the fresh air and clears the energy in your home. This is what I’m talking about when I talk about energy clearing. 

Think of it as a reset. An energetic recalibration, if you will.

There are so many different modalities for Space Clearing; using essential oils, Tibetan singing bowls, tuning forks, smudging with sage or Palo Santo, just to name a few. What I’m doing right now is exploring what works in my home, what lights me up.

As I explore these modalities, I feel guided to begin offering Space Clearing services to clients who feel they are ready for that reset.

SOS My Space’s Mission is all about co-creating a space together that brings harmony into our lives. 

Coming out of the Spiritual Closet felt like a big scary risk for me and now that it’s off my chest, I feel that I have an opportunity to serve in a much bigger way.
